product sample &
cookbook review policy

I love hearing about new products, trends, cookbooks and all things food related. In the interest of being mindful about resources — yours, mine, your client’s, the planet’s — this is the most efficient way for me to handle new product info, product samples and cookbook review copies for coverage consideration:

Product Samples

I know product sample mailers can be a big expense in terms of time and $$ for you and your clients. With that in mind, please always reach out to me first to gauge interest.

Cookbook Review Coverage

Upcoming book catalogs: I’m always eager to see these as they help so much with advance planning. A digital catalog is ideal. Feel free to e-mail this to me as an attachment or link. The earlier I learn about upcoming titles, the better the chance I’ll be able to cover them.

Advance galleys: A digital galley (lo-res watermarked PDF, NetGalley or other format) is ideal as I almost always need to see it in color to assess whether a title is a fit for coverage. Please do not send physical advance copies.

Finished copies: Please do not automatically send finished copies. If I need a finished copy of a specific title, I’ll request it.
